Breastfeeding Causes Lesbianism

It's true. I have a friend of a friend who swears that every lesbian, feminist art historian she's ever known (and apparently, she knows a LOT of them) were exclusively breast fed for at least the first year of life.

Now I have nothing against lesbian feminist art historians-some of my best friends (or friends of a friend of my best friend, technically) are lesbian feminist art historians (I think some of them are Jews too). Still, you have to wonder if we are encouraging lesbian feminist art historians onto society in large numbers due to breast feeding.

I don't want a kid that wears ugly shoes and talks about Miro all day long. Do you???

Before the advent of bottles and formulas, every woman in the world breast fed and every baby, male and female was breast fed for a lot longer than one year so if what you day is true, the whole human race is homosexual and you know that is not true. Stop turning off your brain when you hear these stupid ideas.

i would believe you're partially correct. i'm male. my little brother and I were breast fed until about 16 months. Both of us are titty men today.

breast feeding is natural and should be perfomed. but, I believe if you breast feed too long, your child becomes attached to the mother, and women in general. there will obviously be a closer bond to females, than otherwise. the child's long-term memory begins around age 3. i believe if you breast feed close to age 3 or beyond, you're increasing the chance of lesbianism. if not lesbian, then your daughter will likely have a closer bond to other females, moreso than males, as far as friendships (might be a good thing).

but people will naturally argue this until they're blue in the face, simply because they are offended or have different opinions. but it's hard to argue against logic.

stopping between 16-20 months will surely leave the attachment to their mother, purely subconcious. not like those 8 year olds who are still breast fed. i can't imagine those poor kids have any good attachment to males or even their father, compared to their mother. sad.

So...um logic you say? So are all or most daughters raised in single parent homes (without a father) lesbians?

If there is an uneven attachment to the female parent over the male parent I don't think breastfeeding is the cause.

My husband does a lot of "mothering" for our children. Cutting their nails, bathing them, playing soccer with them, cooking for them, as much as he can when he is not working or resting. Because of that I don't think any amount of breastfeeding will cause a lack of or uneven bond between mother and father in this family.

Men want to bond with their kids more? Don't attack breastfeeding, fuckin bond with your kids.

that's why there were so many lesbian feminist art historians 500 years ago ;) formula didnt exist... wow those poor poor people. their society must have been so messed up. i really wish they could have looked 500 years into the future to see what a wonderful society we have now, with the lack of war and psychopaths. the children that always listen to parents and respect each other. a society that promotes kindness and peace. if only they had formula then, they would realize that all those suicide bombings, school shootings, and masochists they had back then would just be normal peaceful people :( i almost feel bad for them. sigh, if only i had a time machine... i'd take a few cans of enfamil back to the poor folk. XD ROFLMFAO!

My siblings and I were breastfed, we are all straight and all married with kids. All of our kids are breastfed and all straight same with our friends. I don't see your logic.
